Designer and contractor, Jenifer Gilbert, currently resides in Colorado Springs. She grew up in Scarsdale, NY and is a sixth generation contractor. One of her favorite mediums is masonry and stonework linking back to original roots, with her ancestors specializing in masonry when they arrived six generations ago. Her Grandfather is noted builder, Percy L. Smith, whose accomplishments include the building of many Scarsdale, NY mansions. Gilbert specializes in interior design and architectural renovations including large residential and commercial space utilizing what is already present and expanding on it. Her range of work spans from Residential Style, Cottage Style, Spanish Colonial, 1950's Modern, and 1920 Tudor and much more. Her original design focus was providing decorating expertise on "how to achieve the desired look for less". Now Gilbert has expanded into a full service design house with a team of master craftsman providing impeccable design from conception to end on budget and on time. Some of Gilberts past designs include the "Hickory Hill" private estate residence, Fairfield, CT renovation and Junior Achievement, Corporate Offices, Colorado Springs. More recent designs include the classic 1950's Julie Penrose House, a private residence, Colorado Springs. In addition to her design and construction, she is also a Federal contractor and a woman owned business. Gilbert's journey now takes her to large estate design and commercial renovations on a national level.
